Terms of Use and Sale
Plain terms for reading Texas Electrician Exam and for buying the one thing it sells. Effective 4 September 2026.
Who runs this site
Texas Electrician Exam at txelectricianexam.com is published by Trojan Digital Marketing, an Indiana company. Write to [email protected]. The site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), PSI Services, or any licensing authority, school or union.
What this site is, and is not
Everything here is study material and general information. It is not electrical advice, engineering, legal advice, or a substitute for the National Electrical Code, the Texas statutes and rules, your inspector, or the authority having jurisdiction. A calculator on this site shows a method with the numbers you gave it; it is not a design, a sizing decision or an approval, and you check every result against your own code book before you rely on it.
We work hard to be accurate and we log corrections in public on the corrections page, but the code, the rules, the fees and the exam change, and a page can be behind or wrong. We make no promise that any page is complete, current or error free, and no promise that using this site will lead to a passing score, a license, a permit or an inspection.
Practice questions and the exam
Every practice question, game prompt and explanation on this site was written for this site. None is reproduced from any examination, and none is presented as an actual exam question. The exam is written by others and its content is confidential to them.
The code book and copyright
NEC and National Electrical Code are registered trademarks of NFPA, which owns the copyright in the code. This site does not reproduce the code's text or its tables. Where a calculator or a question uses a value that also appears in a code table, it uses that single value for the computation you asked for, names the table so you can check the row in your own copy, and prints no table. You need your own copy of the current code, which the Texas exam requires you to bring anyway.
The pages, questions, explanations, tools and code on this site are ours. You may read them, use the tools, print a page for your own study and share a link. You may not copy the question sets, scrape the site, resell or republish any part of it, or use it to train a model, without written permission.
Buying the question bank of 178 questions with the calculation ladder
The one paid item on this site is the question bank of 178 questions with the calculation ladder ($79 once, with team seats sold on the practice page). Everything else, including the practice questions, the daily question, the calculators and the games, is free and needs no account.
Payment is taken by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. What you buy is delivered in your browser the moment the payment clears and is tied to that browser and to the email address you paid with. Clear your browser data or change devices and you get it back with the "Already paid? Get it back" link using that email address. There is no account, no password, and nothing about you is stored on our servers.
Refunds. If the product does not work in your browser and we cannot fix it within seven days of your writing to us, we refund the purchase in full. Because the product is delivered in full at once, we do not otherwise refund a purchase that has been unlocked. Card disputes are answered with the delivery record.
Team seats. Where a team purchase is offered, each seat is for one person, claimed with that person's own email address, and is not transferable.
Taxes. Prices are in US dollars. Any tax we are required to collect is shown at checkout.
Your use of the site
Do not attack, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the site, and do not use it for anything unlawful. We can refuse service or remove content at our discretion.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Trojan Digital Marketing and the people who write for it are not liable for any loss, injury, damage, failed examination, denied license, failed inspection, lost work or cost of any kind arising from your use of this site or reliance on anything on it, whether in contract, tort or otherwise. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or twenty dollars if you paid nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and the law that applies
We may change these terms by posting a new version with a new date; the version posted when you buy governs that purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, and any dispute is brought in the state or federal courts sitting in Marion County, Indiana, unless the law of your state requires otherwise.
